June

I guess I didn't blog much in June.  I think I wasn't feeling the blog love ;)   Maybe you guys should all comment a little more?

We've been pretty busy too.  We decided to potty train Landen.  It's been a treat, let me tell ya. Umm... lots of Landen anyway.  He is pretty close to potty trained. We took him to the Truck and Tractor Pulls in Idaho Falls on June 18. I told him he could only go IF he kept his pants dry all day. He did.  We were VERY proud.

Overall, Landen does really good for a few days and then he has a really bad day.  He just gets to involved playing and doesn't take the time to go.  He just seems to do it all in the same day and drives me to point I'm ready to strangle him.  But then he's fine for a few days.  Luckily the good days are outnumbering the bad ones.

 Landen still loves anything with wheels.  He is especially liking trailers right now.  See, his green truck is 'pulling' the laundry basket through the house.  Pretty cool, uh? He thinks so.  He also likes finding things to make ramps to drive his trucks up to fix.

He's really into fixing things.  Papa has been working on his house, and leaves his tools out, and Landen LOVES to play with them. He even remembers the names of most of the tools.  But he thinks the level is a jack (and a ramp). 

Landen is also LOVING the pool.

Maggie loves it too.  But she makes me to nervous when she's in it to take pictures.  She is cruisin' around the furniture these days - Or anything that she thinks will hold up. Included the blow up sides of the pool.  Or the lamp, or the dog, or even a few times, Landen.   But she will NOT crawl.  She wants to move herself everywhere and when she can't find something to cruise on, she wants me to pick her up or help her walk. So I'm ready for her to just crawl already.

Maggie is also at the stage where we find her in all sorts of funny sleeping positions. And stuck in crib. But she still sucks her two finger on her left hand to go to sleep. During the day she occasionally sucks her thumb with her right hand if her left is busy. It's cute, but I'm going to have fun breaking that habit later.
