I finally made it across the room to upload my camera to the computer! Landen also has figured out how to make it across the room! He is cruising from piece to piece of furniture, toys, chairs, walls, whatever is stable enough for him.

Before we left we bought a back pack. It's a lighter frame model, as opposed to some that are much bulkyier. Landen seems to really enjoy the view!

After arriving... and a few days later. The crew branded, tagged, vaccinated and "banded" (made them steers) the calves. First, they tried wrestling them the old fashioned way.

Then they decided to use the squeeze. Landen stayed in the daypack the whole time and really liked all the commotion.

And no farm is ever complete without a 4-wheeler to ride. (this pic is actually at my parents house, the weather wasn't that nice while we were in Montana)

Landen wore his hat outside, but he doesn't really like it. After he attempts to take it off 5 or 6 times and it goes back on, he gives up.

And for those of you who thought I was exaggerating about my grass being a foot taller...

I measured -- from my foot to the middle of my knee is 16 inches. The grass was to the middle of my knee. You can also see that it is taller than Penny.
