So, we have been looking for a new car. One car we have been considering is a Subaru, but if you have ever thought of buying a Subaru, there are some things to consider:
First, make sure to budget extra money to buy new Tevas and a bike rack.
Second, make sure you look right. You'll need khaki cargo shorts or cut offs. Tie-dye or Save the Earth t-shirts and a peace logo medallion somewhere.
Don't worry about taking a shower and combing your hair, that's not important to a Subaru owner.
Find Bumper Stickers. Save the Darfur, Save the Whales especially. Make sure your iPod includes Bob Marley and Willie Nelson.
Make sure that your fellow Subaru owners see you picking up trash, parked in Logan canyon and shopping at Sweet Peas.
Don't forget about playing your acoustic guitar at open mic night.
Is there anything else we should consider before buying a Subaru?

maaaahhahhaha that's funny. Jacob and I have thought about getting an outback.. not because we want to be all "granola" but because we like that we could totally fit an infant car seat, a car seat and a booster seat all in the back seat! Plus have plenty of room for luggage and things when going on trips! In other words, it would work well as a van/suv without actually having to buy one!
